Out of the females I ended up coming 8th with a time of 51 minutes, being the second youngest in the whole race and probably one of the most inexperienced runners out there I'm pretty proud to admit I did a fine job!
It was only the second time ever that I've run 10km and the first time I didn't do it alone, but know that I know that I can do it, it's something that I will be doing more often.
I haven't been running long, but it's something I can see myself doing for a while, my next plan of action is to run in the 12km city to surf sync work my way up.
I am my own coach, but I do have the knowledge of others that keeps me pushing forward. Running was one of those things I hated when I was younger, even the beginning of this year, but when I realised the freedom it gives you, the courage it gives you to push that little harder, it soon became something to fall in love either.
